Steve Lopez' Third and Indiana can be interpreted acros many different themes. To some it could come across as a morbid coming-of-age tale of life in the ghetto. To others, it's another cry for help on behalf of the city of Philadelphia. But in its purest form, it's a chilling account of the state of our inner-city neighborhoods.
